Jongchan Kim leads the CDNetworks team on its path to global leadership in the content delivery network and advanced data center solutions sectors. Prior to Jongchan’s appointment to CEO, he managed all CDNetworks technical organizations including product management, engineering and operations, advancing product growth into dynamic acceleration and enterprise level solutions. In his ten years at CDNetworks, he was also the global head of operations, responsible for all technical service operations including customer support, service delivery, network and system operation. Prior to joining CDNetworks, Jongchan worked at DACOM (2nd largest telco/ISP/IDC in Korea) for more than 12 years. Jongchan played a major role in establishing KIDC (Korea Internet Data Center, subsidiary of DACOM company) as chief network architecture and technical leader in the hosting business. Jongchan holds his Bachelor of Computer Science from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea.
Andrew is a founding member of CDNetworks, joining in 2000 as the director, sales leading marketing, PR and sales activities. Since then, Andrew has led business development and MIS as well. In 2005, Andrew set up the first CDNetworks overseas subsidiary in Tokyo, Japan. Andrew currently heads up the Americas operations as the President & COO. Prior to CDNetworks, Andrew worked at DACOM (2nd largest telco/ISP/IDC in Korea). Andrew graduated from Korea University, Seoul with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Alex Nam joined CDNetworks in 2013 and was tapped to run the EMEA operations in 2014. Alex leads a growing team based in London including sales, marketing and customer support. Alex began his career as a consultant for Accenture, then moved into leading global business teams at SK Communications and Neowiz. Alex graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Korea University.
John Kang is Vice President of Business Development for CDNetworks US and is responsible for developing and executing strategic partner acquisition programs. Before joining CDNetworks, John was General Manager of the Digital Solutions Center US for Samsung Electronics. Prior to this, he held several key business development positions at Samsung in the Telecommunications and Digital Media divisions. John has also worked for PA Consulting (formerly Hagler Bailly), the Disney Channel, and AT&T. He holds a Masters of Management degree from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Harvey Mudd College.
