POSITION OVERVIEW

The Account Executive positions offer the opportunity to leverage track records of success closing new business as part of the CDNetworks (CDN) team selling content and web application acceleration services. Candidates will enjoy a competitive base salary with uncapped (no ceiling) commissions while representing a leading-edge CDN that is helping companies grow their global businesses through web 2.0 applications. As this challenging economy drives businesses to make significant changes, CDNetworks makes good business sense – We help companies save money while increasing the performance of their web sites and web-based applications. We will look to our strong Account Executive team to act as individual ‘CEO’s of territories’, showcasing one’s creativity in developing and executing sales plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new revenues from a predefined sales territory; aggressively hunt new prospects.
  • Meet with Senior executives in closing new deals.
  • Prospect / qualifying / win new customer engagements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasts.
  • Work closely with the regional Sales Head in developing sales strategies and training.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Required…

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field required.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in prospecting/qualifying/closing sales for an organization in a hi-tech industry.
  • Knowledge of the Internet, Content Delivery Networks (CDN’s) and web acceleration, preferred and highly desired.
  • Sales experience in the SaaS, Cloud, Managed Services or internet infrastructure industry, ideally with a similar company generating new business deals.
  • Experience with a high volume of activity, including calls, demos, emails, face-to-face customer presentations, and more.
  • Experience doing live portal demos to prospects.
  • Experience in teaming with Sales Engineer resources.

  • Achieve sales goals with strong sales and management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience selling into enterprise companies and verticals.
  • Demonstration of ROI and high-value add to customers.
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast paced working environment where only self-motivated succeed.
  • Outstanding closing skills and a track record exceeding new business quota through the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualifying, proof of concept and closing.
  • A demonstrated creative approach to structuring deals, marketing and other aspects of the sales cycle.
