US content delivery network (CDN) services provider CDNetworks has released new, more efficient versions of its cloud management products Cloud Load Balancer and Cloud Storage.
In the latest Cloud Load Balancer release, CDNetworks’ customers now have more flexibility and options through the customer portal, which offers real-time control, visibility and reporting.
Customers can now customise load balancing rules and policies between CDNs, Clouds, and their own datacentres, including the ability to make decisions based on geography or timeframe. Cloud Load Balancer helps customers save costs using their own datacenter off hours or when traffic is slow in certain regions.
In addition, the latest version of CDNetworks’ Cloud Storage solution provides enhanced performance and scalability, by allowing Content Acceleration customers to upload content to one of CDNetworks’ cloud based storage locations. The service replicates the content across two or more storage locations.
