Inside Account Executive (US)

Position Title:  Inside Account Executive

Reports To:  Manager, Inside Account Executive

Office Locations:  San Jose, CA (Local candidates only. Relocation is not available for this role.)



The Inside Account Executive (IAE) is responsible for driving new customer sales via outbound activities, lead generation, lead qualification and opportunity identification. Responsibilities include generating new business through prospecting and outbound calling, emailing and meetings. The IAE will be responsible for articulating the CDNetworks value proposition, generating interest in CDNetworks service offerings and qualifying leads into opportunities.


  • Meet a quota of 40-70 outbound calls per day
  • Manage and track leads through
  • Prospect, qualify and nurture leads generated from Marketing events and campaigns
  • Identifying new leads and opportunities


  • BA or BS degree equivalent preferred, or a combination of college-level courses taken and relevant work experience
  • Prior B2B cold calling/lead generation experience
  • Proven prospecting skills
  • CRM/SFDC experience
  • Familiarity with the Funnel Sales Proces
  • Superb written and oral communications skills
